Buying a Used Car

There are many things to consider when buying a used car.

There are differences between buying a used car from an individual and buying one from a dealership. Certain guidelines apply when purchasing a car from a dealership whereas from an individual there are little or no rules.

The used car rule insures that the car dealership have a buyers guide in every used car. The buyers guide states:

Is there a warranty or is the sale as is?

If there is a warranty how much will the auto dealer pay.

Tells the consumer what are the typical problems to look for

Tells the consumer to have the car checked out by a reliable mechanic
